Authorities Friday found the remains of a ninth victim killed by a newly divorced, Santa-clad gunman who showed up at his former in-laws' Covina home and opened fire on Christmas Eve partygoers, then caused an explosion that gutted the house before killing himself.
Bruce Jeffrey Pardo, despite being critically burned in the explosion, managed to drive about 40 miles to Sylmar, where the unemployed electrical engineer booby-trapped his rental car before shooting himself to death at his brother's home about 3:30 a.m. Christmas Day, police said.
This is horrible horrible news!
I watched this on the news the day after Christmas, that Pardo guy is sick!
I've been through a rough divorce, and to be honest, I can relate... but that doesn't mean that what he did was right!
I imagine how the girl who opened the door for him felt... she was shot in the face!
Too bad Pardo killed himself... there are a lot of things I want to do with him!
Yes... I agree this is horrible.... and I agree that Pardo is better off dead
That is indeed terrible news. It does seem that the crime rate is back on the rise again.
Of course it's horrible, and it will haunt surviving relatives for the rest of their lives.
I think most of us know somebody who we've suspected may be capable of some kind of violence, but that is just so tragic.
its so horrible and at the same time tragic! - considering it happened on Christmas day.
his better off dead, all will get mad at him what face can he wear with that,. i felt sorry about what happen.
