Help! I recently moved to San Diego, and I have some friends coming in to town for New Years Eve, and I want to plan the perfect night on the town. Nobody wants to spend a lot of money and right now we are torn between doing the hotel party thing and hitting up PB. I live near PB, so it would be convenient, but I feel like it will probably be overcrowded, cold and casual (we ladies want to dress up). The other options we are looking at are the Keating Hotel party, which is $70 cover no drinks included, or the Sheraton Hotel party, which is $120 all inclusive. The problem is that I am not familiar with either of these hotel parties (or any others) and I dont know how to decide. Any suggestions??? Much appreciated!
hit up the NYE Fest it is a smaller venue holding 650cap. but host a full musical lineup starting at 7 pm with live reggae, rock and alt bands, moving to nu disco funk and a few hiphop acts finishing with some house/electro EDM djs
full info here www.thegaugecheck.com its only $25 the venue boasts a 50 beer tap list with special diner and after midnight breakfast buffet as well as life art display gallery and free face and body paint station.
If you're looking for inexpensive awesome events I'm going to suggest San Diego's New York Comedy Club. Its only $20 which is crazy cheap considering it comes with a champagne toast and the headliners are BOMB...hilarious! Here's some more info:
