San Francisco is such a small and lame city I went there in July weather was just ok but you can't beat the food, old town and how big and diverse SD really is you think my barrio is red necks you people are idiots it's cuz you people only see downtown and very narrow parts of the 2nd bigest city and county in CALI. We have a viotnammese town we have a lil manila in national city, chicano park a great asian community in clairmont A big samoan community in ocean side a big urban area in South and south east san diego. A highly diverse area in east SD. Plus we got a harbor that serves great in commerce and in military. As well as 3 great world class universities.

My organization will be having a free art show in downtown San Diego. If free wine and a relaxing social atmosphere overlooking the city skyline sounds like fun, please visit www.SanDiegoArtist.org and sign up to the RSS (really simple syndication). You will receive updates through email.

i always lived in Lemon Grove, Encanto and City Heights. i lived in Clairemont once for a couple of years and hated it and couldn't really say why. We all know the saying "money talks....." i tried to move last year and ended up in Bay Park, near Mission Bay because I own a pit bull and they were the only ones who would take him. it is okay. my neighbors are all nice. last night was the first time i saw how the police work down there. i never really thought about it until now. a drunk woman totalled my car as it was parked in front of my apartments. she jumped out and ran and my neighbors caught her. the paramedics came and she acted like she was delerious from the collision. they took her to the hospital. the police told me, "oh no. she won't go to las colinas tonight. we don't have time to wait around at the hospital. we'll follow up later." her car had changed hands three times and was still registered to the first owner. she was driving without insurance. i have never seen anything like this in my life! i just wanted to vent and ask if you know any lawyers that would help me sue. i know its just the way of the world. if that was anyone i ever knew in my life they would have gone to jail first and seen the quack county doctors. thank you for letting me "scream". i have never sued anyone in my life, but would appreciate any help you can give. thank you and God bless you.

THE FIRST THING YOU GRAB SHOULD BE YOUR SHOES. After an earthquake you'll need to do some serious moving and if you think you can do it barefoot you're a better man than I. Take it from an earthquake veteran ' 71 through to the present.

The Regents Road section of Rose Canyon is the settling area for all the runoff and dumped trach from the area. Compare Rose Canyon with San Clemente Canyon and the Regents Road Bridge. What a chopice.

ChrisN and Sassy have great ideas for finding a place worth living in. You don't want corporate or impersonal when it comes to your living space.
