In San Diego I have met Bobby Edner (He is my neighbor), Drew Ryan Scott, David Lei Brandt, Thomas Fiss (My friend from the school we used to go to) They live like 2 houses down from me and I live right next to Bobby Edner (Spy Kids 3). All of them are in a band called Varsity Fanclub. I also met The Jonas Brothers at Starbucks and I met Jesse McCartney at the airport.

This might make an interesting subject.

What strange rumours or wives tales have you heard about flight 182?
Heres mine: Friend of a friend of a friend claims that his "business partner" *sniffsniff* was on the flight after making a deal up North. He supposedly has over a million in cash on him when the flight went down.

Everyone is welcome to join the yahoo groups I created.

<a href="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hoaloha_PSA/" rel="nofollow">http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hoaloha_PSA/</a>

You can set your settings for the replies to go directly to your email or you can remain web-based in your commentary. You can also have all the comments for that day sent as a single email as a journal page. Additionally, if there are photos you would like to post there is an archival feature and we can set it so only members can see the photos.

Enrollment will be open for the next week or so but after that I will set it so people will have to request to join in order to reply to comments or to view pictures.

I wish to thank Joe for his courage in starting this blog originally. Sir, you have done more in the healing of those of us who witnessed, lost or have been affected by this tragic accident than any psychiatrist could ever have done. It's much like watching your children go from those wobbly, scary first steps and then learning to trust that they aren't going to always fall but they get better. Suddenly, the fears and trepidation which kept them timid have changed to strength and courage as they run with freedom. We will always need to remember and to talk about what happened and we should keep this blog site just for that. It's our memorial.

You have helped so many to face the past and remember the pain but to have others support them and developed friendships that may never have happened. If you ever wonder if you have made a difference in this world, you have. We thank you.

I am not asking for people to leave this blog but merely to join the yahoo group so anything can be discussed which may be off topic.

O ka pono ke hana 'ia a iho mai na lani. ~ Continue to do good until the heavens come down to you. (Blessings come to those who persist in doing good)

I believe this blog has the free spirit. Folks here have been able to post off-topic yet it relates to the friendships they have formed, whether outside the blog or because of this blog. I have not seen uncivil behavior like in many blogs. I have been the workers bee and unlucky enough to be in management. It is good in some situations to have rules, codes of conduct, principles, values, protocols and policies can help in many situations, like in the cockpit the running or religious use of checklists for flight safety (PSA #182's crew was overheard running their pre-landing checklist I believe turning or on downwind for runway 27). However, in a creative platform like this forum, I don't think rules are helpful. I once worked for the owner of a company that employed about 75 people. It could have been a good job but the owner had too many silly rules both written and unwritten. Women could not wear perfume. One could not use ink colors for writing other than black. Once I wrote a memo with green ink (before I knew about the unwritten rule) and the owner came into my office and said not to use green, green was the color he always used (you can imagine that ticked him off...if I had been smart I would have replied "oh, I use green because I'm about to take over your job and marry your wife"). There were rules for different type of employees as to where you could go in the building and when. His wife made sure she lived by his rules. The people who were blindly loyal to the owner out of fear, would be the rule observers, making sure no one broke the code or they'd go tattle to the owner or his wife. And believe it or not, the last name of this guy is LAW, how appropriate. As you can imagine, creativity was low because no one wanted to break Law's rules. So in a nutshell, did I break any rules in this post?

TO: Alice McKenzie-
I do not understand how you can complain here. You have never contributed anything to this blog except to complain. Why not add to the discussion about your aunt and her friend, then maybe that would help it get back "to the topic". As far as I am concerned, the story of PSA 182 can not end. It is embodied by survivors stories, heartaches, memorials and humor expressed through any other topics that sprout from new relationships. Without these components this blog would die. Information is great. It is what brought us here in the first place, but to keep it alive takes much more.

So for the sake of the "few" who have a problem with this- I guess we can't talk about car accidents or deranged, drunk, wax stealing monkeys anymore.I can live with that.
(My Bros.Dano and Tiki- keep me posted on the saga-you know my e-mail!)

To all who have shared their heart on this blog- God Bless You all tonight.

It is obvious that most of us here have learned to take the "high road" that leads to peace as with our friend Smoke. Later Cats.
