Was recently sent this from Shycloud, it's kinda cool! Since 1995 I have been taking pictures and shooting video of various singers and bands at numerous venues around San Diego County. I've decided it's about time I start letting more people see those pictures and videos, so I am working on places to display them on the net. The videos are moving along fastest, as over the last week or so I have created a page with Apple's .Mac services and so far I have created and posted 12 Quicktime videos, featuring Jeffrye Tveraas, Gary Hyde, "La Jolla DNA," Jeff Berkley, Randi Driscoll, Dave Howard, Eve Selis, Joe Rathburn, Mattie Mills, Bettina "Pixie" Warren, Kim DiVincenzo, and Lindsey Yung!
Steve Cherry of www.wcphotoworks.com sent some great aerial photos: I took a fun coastal flight with a friend in a Cessna this weekend and was able to capture a few good shots. Feel free to post these if you like. More shots including Del Mar racetrack and Mission Beach rollercoaster at the wcphotoworks site: This one's La Jolla. More after the jump too.
Hey y'all, writeup of part I still being written and proofed, but here are photos from both events taken by leahpeah. Rock Bottom in La Jolla was a great venue (lovely brews!), though a little loud for "serious discussion" - -still, that was what Part I was all about. Our wonderful sponsor, Mingle.com provided some refreshments, as well as an iPod Shuffle, won by our own MAS. Also a lynda.com CD-ROM called "Learning Blogger" was won by Nick. I remember great individual conversations about why people blog, advertising, readership, podcasting technologies, and more. But so scattered? We had about 25-30 people filter through during the event. I want to thank MAS, Steve, and Leah for helping this event such a success. Many people thanked me for putting the event together, but without their serious coordination, it would not have been possible in the least. After the jump is a giant list of urls from the participants, in alphabetical order. (Holler if any of yours were left out!) I collected these by "aggressively mingling" with everyone there. I made a promise to myself to talk to everyone, and like a cub reporter, gathered these urls. Please leave a comment if I missed you. Likewise, please feel to comment in flickr and maybe we can get these photos captioned!
