Finders keepers? Not always

A quick glance through Craig’s List under the category of “lost and found” I found myself pleasantly surprised.

There are still some good people out there who will actually turn in a lost wallet if they find it and so it appears, a whole bunch of other stuff.

A few of the interesting things lost AND found the first week of October:

* A diamond ring in Mira Mesa with engraving

* A lost medical bracelet belonging to Kari at the Poway Walmart

* A lost “skull ring”

* Bowling equipment belonging to LIz in North County

* A lost Cockatiel in Cardiff called Kio

* Lots of lost dogs and cats

* Lots of lost men’s and women’s wedding rings! Hmmmmm.

Many of these postings and others actually offer a reward … some rather substantial.

What’s the craziest thing you have either lost or found? Let me know, as for me, I once lost my car at a UCLA football game. It took me five hours to find it, it was the only car left.
