Why we’re losing the war in Iraq.
On Sept. 11, Alquaida crashed airplanes into the twin towers of New York. I believe they were hoping to destroy the American monetary system, among other things. Then they figured out that you can destroy American by destroying the monetary system.
It seems to me more than coincidental that every time we start to remove troops from Iraq, a new round of violence makes it “impossible.” So we drive ourselves deeper into debt in order to support an army that is costing us billions of dollars every month. They really don’t want us to leave because they can destroy our economy from afar and never have to raise an army of their own against us.
And we, fools that we are, keep playing into their hands by keeping the war going with dollars we borrow from other countries. We don’t lose many troops to this charade of a war but we do destroy our country financially.
And when the American dollar is worth about a nickel in today’s money, we will no longer be able to defend ourselves against greater threats. Or we’ll be money poor from paying a hundred dollars for a cup of coffee in currency no other country wants to invest in. It was money that made us able to fight this war in the first place and it will be the lack of a stable currency that makes us unable to a war with anyone anywhere. People in Europe are already refusing dollars for their products and asking for Euros instead.
If the terrorists play their cards right, they can keep our army tied up in a far-off country and we will win their war for them.
Beware of the parking scam at The Surfer Beach Hotel in Pacific Beach. You pay extra to park in the lot, but that doesn’t stop the towing company from taking your car in the middle of the night! My car had evidence that a slim jim was used to gain entry and remove the parking tag that had been placed there. It cost about $300 to get the car back. The management of the hotel did nothing–I think they are definitely in on the scam. The San Diego Police Dept. says this happens alot, but they can’t stop them because it is private property and no one can prove it. DO NOT STAY AT THE SURFER BEACH HOTEL.
