Anyone go (on purpose or on accident) to any of the Trolley Dances events this weekend past? If you missed it, the trolley dances are happening again next weekend, along the Orange line starting at the Euclid Ave station.
Last year I tried to go. Actually we did go, but we didn’t last very long. Suffice it to say no more organizing group activities for me. Too many people’s schedules to coordinate not to mention feeding schedules….
I missed the Trolley Dances THIS weekend, but I’ll be checking them out (on my own) NEXT weekend, Sept 30-Oct 1. Maybe some of you will be there too!
Tickets are $25 which you can buy online. Of course if you just happen upon a group of people dancing at a trolley station…. that’s serrendipity!
but please remember that the Jean Isaacs San Diego Dance Theater is a non-profit organization so your ticket will support their mission, “to create and perform intelligent dances that will breath life into the people of our region… ” Ya gotta have art.
Note, I’m not sure how it is this year, but from my experience last year there was a bit of walking and standing involved and not all areas were easy for people with ability issues. If you’re going with someone who may have difficulty you may consider bringing one of those portable beach/camp chairs.
