On an unrelated thread, a commenter made this request:

I’m looking for a schedule of free summer concerts at Harry Griffeth Park, La Mesa, CA

I tried googling, but came up with nothing. The last name was wrong. I checked with a La Mesa expert, and the reply was:

Harry Griffen Park is where the memorial service for Buddy Blue recently took place.

They added a link to the City of La Mesa website, which says:

Harry Griffen Park is a regional facility operated as part of a joint powers authority composed of the Helix Water District, Grossmont Union High School District, the County of San Diego, and the cities of El Cajon and La Mesa.

Facilities include play area, tot lot, sandbox area, 360-seat amphitheater, jogging path, off-leash dog run, shaded picnic area with tables and barbecues, two large multi-play turfed sports fields, horseshoe pits and rest rooms. Use capacity: 1,500. Parking for 181 cars.
