The Hotel San Diego will be demolished on Saturday morning.
Dynamite will reduce the 92-year-old Hotel San Diego to dust and rubble Saturday, making way for a new federal courthouse.

Yeah… they’re doing an implosion. I’ve always wanted to see one of those. The really should have set up a viewing area to charge tickets. I’da gone for sure.

I live downtown and didn’t know this was going to happen and was taking a little mid morning nap when I heard a noise that literally made me freak out. It sounded like a building was coming down, I just didn’t know it was planned!!!
