San Diego hoax expert helps fools see fakery
San Diego is home to many fine museums including one that doesn’t actually exist: The Museum Of Hoaxes.Well, it doesn’t exist except online but the man behind it, Alex Boese (Burzha), says some people think it does.
Boese operates the MuseumOfHoaxes.com website to help disprove various hoaxes on the internet and in real life.
One of the pages on the site features a picture of a building that is supposedly the real home of the museum. Except it’s not.

Hey, that’s me you’re talking about! Would it be shameless self-promotion if I mentioned that I’ve got a new book coming out this week, Hippo Eats Dwarf, and that I’ll be giving an April Fool’s Day talk/book signing at the Borders downtown on April 1st? Probably. But I just did it anyway.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: the book signing is at 2 pm.

I can vouch for the book (which is mentioned in the Vyuz.com article). Hippo Eats Dwarf is an excellent book. You can open it to any section and start reading something amazing. It has already become a valuable reference book for me.
