I sure wish that meant I could afford to buy a house! I suppose with a fancy interest only mortgage, I could, but I may just end up leaving too. Lots of other nice places to live where a college educated woman can find a decent job, AND can actually afford to make payments on a house that will actually decrease the principal! (I guess in things like mortgages I’m kinda conservative) and I’ve been watching too many home improvement shows….

I wasn’t able to afford to live in San Diego until I was 30. When I bought a house I only had enough to buy East of the I-15 (way up by the Wild Animal Park).

Save your money and be patient. Buying opportunities will come again.
