80 Years of Art in San Diego

Tomorrow, the San Diego Museum of Art will be celebrating their 80th anniversary. They are rolling back their admission price to 25 cents, which is what they charged on opening day 80 years ago. Plus, they have birthday cake all day. More info on events can be found on their anniversary page.

I’ve been a member at the museum off and on for years. It’s really a great place to spend a few hours when you feel the need for some culture. Don’t miss the modern art in the galleries on the left (say hi to my favorite Matisse and Dufy) and then there is also the very famous Georgia O’Keefe Trumpet Flower in the galleries past the Stabiano exhibit.
