Don’t miss the long awaited return of Dougie MacLean, one of Scotland’s most gifted and successful contemporary singer-songwriters. Called the James Taylor of Scotland, Dougie’s songs tell a story that captivates the audience. His lyrics deal with dilemmas facing the modern world but he maintains an upbeat, energetic melody. Much of his music is inspired by his love of Scotland, such as his most famous song “Caledonia”, now the unofficial Scottish anthem. His songs have been covered by many famous artists and included in movies, including The Last of the Mohicans (The Gael) and Angel Eyes (Turning Away) starring Jennifer Lopez.

“..a musical hero.” The Wall Street Journal

“..a Scottish phenomenon…with his exquisite guitar style, expressive voice and honest performance, his songs conjure up remarkably vivid imagery of our world…The Performing Songwriter.
