I met Susan and John through a local running group (Jim O’Hara’s from Movin’ Shoes)

They are currently in Kazakhstan, going through the final steps of adopting two sisters.

As Susan told me about what they had to do for the adoption, I was surprised how I little I knew about the adoption process. It was extra tough for them since they had to deal with the Kazakhstan bureaucracy and adoption agency.
