I'm in!

I just came back from PubCon a few weeks ago, http://www.PubCon.com and had the amazing experience of hanging out with 2000 other webmasters. After a while it feels like you are the only one in the world who keeps track of Page Rank, is trying to avoid duplicate content, and checking Google to see how you rank for different terms!

Then all of a sudden you realize there are a bunch of other dorks who spend as much time at 2:00 a.m. on their computers as you do.

Sign me up, and count me in. I will even go one better than that. Tell me what I can do to make it a successful event for everyone, and I will see what I can do!

I am a Instructor @ swc doing research on a person named John Walker. I heard a very grusom story in my class and would like to find out more. If you knew John Wallker of Chula Vista please tell your best story about him.

It's been ages since we've emailed, Joe - just hit my current email address and we shall proceed from there. Really, I'd love to see some familiar faces and many new ones.

I'll try to be at both. I suggest Urban Grind in Hillcrest for Part 1, and Rock Bottom for Phase 2, but I'm cool with whatever venues, places are chosen. Hoping to meet up with some folks at Rock Bottom on 1/16/06 though!

I like Mike's idea of a two-phased moveable feast. I'd probably show up at phase 2 rather than phase 1. If I found it easy to simply talk to strangers, then I probably wouldn't blog ;-)

UTC is optimal for me in North County, but could do Old Town nearly as easily. For whatever reason, I find Mission Valley to be a sore trial from the perspective of navigation and traffic flow.

When the place is decided on and an official post is made, someone should make a badge that we can put on our blogs.

Old Town would be great. Free parking and public transit. And, did I see that someone would donate the room?
