Larry Knowles, editor of Vyuz San Diego, sent us: Vyuz San Diego a news and commentary site. I asked him a bit about the site and here’s what he told me…

Vyuz.com, as I mentioned, is a news and commentary site for San Diego. I started it up in late August to provide news and opinions that I don’t think are being offered in the mainstream press.

It’s the only publication that covers the highest level of soccer in San Diego, the San Diego County Soccer League. Another writer and I have been credentialed reporters at San Diego Gulls hockey games, as well.

The site draws people–mostly San Diegans–who are tired of the Reader (Does anyone go online to read the Reader?) and consider the U-T as part of the establishment.

It doesn’t aim to be leftist, rightist, pro-this, or pro-that. It simply aims to provide interesting counter-cultural news and commentary.

If you have any other questions, lemme know.

Larry, thanks so much for sharing! Folks, check it out at www.vyuz.com. I’ve added a link to the site on the sidebar.
