San Diego baseball legend and American war hero Jerry Coleman was inducted into Baseball’s Hall of Fame this morning. Coleman has been a Padres broadcaster since 1972 and even tried his hand at managing the team in 1980. For many people, though, he will always be known for his amazing way with words, also known as Colemanisms. Who else could give the world such hilarity as “Hector Torrez, how can you communicate with Enzo Hernandez when he speaks Spanish and you speak Mexican?” and “You didn’t have to say it was gone. It was gone before it got outta here. It was going that fast.”
Feel free to share some of your favorite Colemanisms in the comments section.

He made it to USA Today. And here’s a page with more Jerry Coleman quotes.
“There’s two heads to every coin.” that’s my favourite
