Ladyfest San Diego Call For Entries

The S/he Collective is proud to support Ladyfest San Diego for their first annual women’s art and music festival! Help keep the summer tradition of women focused art alive in San Diego! There’s still time to submit your work for Ladyfest–the deadline has been extended to June 1, 2005.

LADYFEST SAN DIEGO 2005 ANNOUNCED SUBMISSIONS SOUGHT FOR WOMEN’S ART AND MUSIC FESTIVAL JULY 14-17, 2005 SAN DIEGO

Women’s music and art will take center stage as the international Ladyfest movement comes to San Diego. A non-profit, community-based festival organized entirely by volunteers, Ladyfest San Diego is designed to showcase the artistic and political achievement of women and trans folk.

It will feature four days of entertainment, including live music performances; spoken word artists; a film/video & animation festival and photographic art exhibits.

It will also include educational and do-it-yourself (DIY) workshops and forums.

Ladyfest San Diego will be held Thursday, July 14 through Sunday, July 17, 2005.
