Elections are Better than Appointments

Lt. Smash aka The Indepundit actually calls his City Councilman, or at least her Communications Director, and urges that auspicious body to go the Special Election route rather than the appointment route in replacing Dick Murphy in the Mayor’s office.
If you agree, and you live in San Diego, I encourage you to contact your local council member and let them know that you want your right to elect your mayor preserved.
