Thanks for the info, at first glance the T-Mobile service seemed cost efficient, but to my disappointment it turned out a little more costly than I thought. Luckily, upon moving into our downtown loft this week, I found that there a number of open connections floating around for me to piggy-back on. I’m sure we could all debate the ethics of such a practice, but I’d like to think that the owners of such Wi-Fi spots left them open because they don’t mind people like me “borrowing” the access every once and a while….besides, the connections are hit-or-miss and snail speed at best. We’re thankful nonetheless!

I have been keeping a sorta directory of free wi-fi hotspots in San Diego that I’ve been meaning to post about forever. Sometimes ambition causes procrastination. I wanted to make a “Wi-Pod” guide and a “submit a wi-fi hot spot” page like Joe’s Suggest a Site, but I should probably just post with a list of wi-fi hot spots and edit it as new ones come.

Will try to do this week.
