We haven’t even entered San Diego’s true wet season

Back in October of 2004, Oso quoted local weather blogger Robert Krier’s comments about a long dry spell. It’s currently raining outside as I read Kriers late December observations about the current spate of wet weather.

Only four times in city history have we begun the year with more rain than we have at this point. We could very easily reach our average rainfall for the entire season (10.77 inches) by Jan. 3.

Amazing that with all of this rain we are still in a drought .

The rain doesn’t bother me one bit, but good god has it been cold. What happened to global warming? I want it back.
