I used to live in Encinitas (over 10 years). When I heard that a new strip club had just opened there, I was a little skeptical. A nudie bar is that last thing that I thought would ever show up in the Flower Growing Capital.
As I drove down Encinitas Blvd (just east of El Camino Real), there they were. Adults and kids waving signs protesting Fantasy Showgirls. The place used to be Fat Katz (formally Paradise Grill).
From what I’ve read (really!), I guess Encinitas is still nude-free. The exotic dancers are bikini-clad.
I wonder how long this bar will last…
My mom used to work in the kitchen of fat katz bar and grill(this kitchen is horrible!! instead of worrying about the showgirls worry about remodeling their kitchen… its horrible!!! they need to have a B instead of an A
Well, I guess the answer is 12 days.
The Union Tribune has an article saying the place will be sold and turned into a steak house.
Let’s hope they clean up that kitchen!
