SAN DIEGO, CA - (10-8-04) A citizen found a live grenade Friday in the Talmadge area. It was in front of the La Cresta Motel near El Cajon Boulevard and Winona Avenue. Officials have not indicated where it may have come from or who may have left it there. Fire department officials responded and removed the grenade. No injuries were reported.
