Recently added San Diego Blogger Reza Torkzadeh seems to have an interesting history:
Thank you Joe. I appreciate it. Last August, I was chosen as a top 10 finalist in an mtv essay contest aimed at giving young people the opportunity to get involved in the political process. Out of about 1000 entries, I was chosen as top ten. Once that happened, I recieved literally 1000’s of emails, phone calls and letters of support - (1) because of my background and (2) because of my message - regardless of political persuasions - its important to vote.

I guess it will come as no surprise to many readers here that I found The Artist Formerly Known As John Kerry to be somewhat amusing.

Reza’s story is interesting. I am happy to see a fellow San Diegan so involved in today’s politics. He seems very young and bright and I am sure Im sure we will be hearing a lot about him here in San Diego. Keep up the great work!
