Add this to the list of things I didn’t know San Diego had: San Diego Film Festival. It’s from September 29 to October 3, 2004 and in the Gaslamp Quarter. At least one movie Never Been Done has a filmmaker based in San Diego. Apparently it’s about a professional skateboarder with a prosthetic leg, see also neverbeendone.com.

That guy is sponsored by flexfoot (they make the prosthetic legs), and sometimes when he takes a fall he loses the leg and everyone freaks out.

There’s also a San Diego Asian Film Festival.
The next festival is set for October 21-24, 2004

There’s also the San Diego Girl Film Festival at MOPA on September 18 , 2004 from 3:00 - 7:00pm.
