Flickr.com is a site designed to make it easy to upload photos to the web, then share them with your friends. It’s got some really pretty, and really easy interfaces. They also allow people to share their photos with the world easily by marking them up with “tags” — for example, here are images tagged with sandiego, and here are some tagged with california.
It’s a neat idea, for sure. I myself have moved my personal blog to WordPress, but it works with all the major blog softwares - including Blogger and MovableType.
Worth a look for people wanting to put up photos or wanting to put photos up on a free blog. And oh yeah, I have some images up, I’m user “artlung”, as usual.

I’ve been thinking of moving to WordPress from MovableType. Any particular reason why you use WordPress?

Very flexible, it’s GPL — so the source is free, hackable, and I can modify it any way I want to.
There’s also a great plugin architecture, just like MT.
It also does Trackback, comments, has a multilevel user management function.
Lots to like. Believe me, I agonized about the choice of software!
