Yeah - as I remember it the change happened in the 80s sometime. 714 used to be Orange County and all the way south. Just a function of population I suppose.

I have a coin struck in l972 when San Diego was supposed to host the RNC . Does this coin have any value? At that time San Diego was kn own as City in Motion and this is embossed on the coin. Any information regarding this coin would be greatly appreciated
