This is a neat idea associated with AIDSWalk San Diego — RockTheWalk.org. It’ll take place on September 24th at The Casbah:

Rock the Walk is a benefit concert for AIDSWalk San Diego 2004 and will be hosted by Joelle Reeder and Allison Gill to raise funds for HIV/AIDS research and services.

There will be a 5-band line-up, raffles and give-aways and that warm and fuzzy feeling you get from donating to a good cause.

Joelle is a blogger that we’ve mentioned before.

    Thanks for the write-up, Joe! I should mention that Rock the Walk isn’t technically associated with AIDSWalk San Diego. I mean, yes, that’s why we’re putting on the show, but it’s not affiliated officially. All funds raised by this event will be submitted in my name to AIDSWalk that Sunday before I walk. :)
