Well, not really hacked. But a hard drive with lots and lots of sensitive data is missing.

If you are afraid someone will steal your identity, you should look into
putting a security freeze on your credit history. This is supposed to at least help prevent someone (pretending to be you) from applying for new credit.

There were 10 million reported cases of ID theft last year, but 80% don’t even report the crime. This is why I am so determined to get everyone protection for ID theft!
