Cross issue to be voted on… AGAIN

We love voting on the cross.

The City Council made sure today that voters will have a chance Nov. 2 to weigh in on the future of the 43-foot concrete cross atop Mount Soledad. On a 5-3 vote, the council agreed to put City Attorney Casey Gwinn’s ordinance on the ballot to rescind the sale of the land surrounding the cross to the Mount Soledad Memorial Association.
