Welcome Gelato Vero to the World Wide Web. One of my favorite local cafes to grab a coffee and check my email, Gelato Vero is at the corner of Washington and India Streets in a funky two story building with an upstairs view over the I-5, across the airport, and all the way to the bay. Joining the ranks of Influx Cafe and Lestat’s, Gelato Vero offers free (and fast) wireless internet access to all customers. Especially for bloggers and web designers, it is the perfect place to grab an espresso or cup of rich Italian gelato and enjoy the breeze upstairs while hammering out your thoughts.
As Ivan Jurado and Joe mentioned last year, free Wi-Fi access is also available at One America Plaza downtown, along India Street in Little Italy, and throughout Golden Hill thanks to the San Diego Wireless Users Group. If you know of any other free Wi-Fi hotspots that are intended for public use here in San Diego, please leave a comment.
On that note, San Diego Blog could be a great place to list all free Wi-Fi hotspots on the sidebar. And eventually, I would love to help develop an iPod based Wi-Fi guide to San Diego like Bay Area Free Fi has done for the San Francisco area.

I link to San Diego Wireless Users Group on this site, they would know.
The better question for this week and weekend is this — is there WiFi at the Comic Con / Convention Center?
i’m always looking for hot spots. thanks for the info!
Becky, me too … let me know if you find any others.
