OMBAC Over The Line

Tom Blair’s San Diego Magazine column has reminded me that OMBAC’s Over The Line is these next two weekends — Saturday, July 10, Sunday, July 11 & Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18, when quarter finalists take the courts. Play is from 7:30 a.m. to dusk. What is OTL? Here are the rules.

OMBAC also holds a pageant: Miss Emerson — apparently you just need to show up to enter. Team sign-ups, are closed.

I’m a little bummed that there are no team names on the OMBAC site.
