San Diego Radio Geeks Unite!

San Diego is a strange market for radio…. it’s always in the shadow of its big sister Los Angeles, but we are also privvy to some of the best radio in the country (FM 94/9’s “From the Pile”, KPBS’ “The Lounge,” etc…). Chris runs SDRadio.net and updates it every day with all that juicy insider information that radio junkies crave.

If you want to know the inside gossip (what stations will be disappearing, switching formats) look on their message boards. If you want to see more quaint stuff like what promotions and contests the station will be running and which celebrities were in the studio, all you have to do is sneak a peek at the daily news page.

There’s even links and job postings on the page for those that are looking for a career in the radio industry… although I will put out a word of warning: there’s a good reason that Clear Channel is always hiring Account Executives and Promotions people…
