I’ve uploaded some scans of the menu from the JBX Concept Stores. Other stories about this experiement in not-quite-fast food can be found at Tenth-Muse and San Diego CityBeat.
I went a few weeks ago and it was pretty good. The quality of the ingredients was on a par with my expectations for high-end fast food. The staff was courteous, and instead of talking to a speaker at the menu of the drive through, there was a man with a PDA and a headset who handed me the menu and gave me time to decide.
It’s an interesting experiment, to be sure.
