Farmer’s Markets

I like the various community-based farmer’s markets around town, they have a nice mix of veggies and fruit, and a regular spate of vendors featuring kettle corn, tamales, olives, and many other favorites. Honestly, the main reason I’m posting this is so I can remember to attend the various markets around town.

It’s vexing to me, as a person who works downtown, that the one in Horton Plaza on Thursdays has such odd hours (11am to 3pm?).

Ah well, the Gerber Daisies are nice, one sees the women of downtown San Diego with their selected flowers and bouquets on their lunch hour and making their way home via bus, trolley, and car.
