Guess who’s coming to San Diego next week:

Next Monday, Bush will again leave his ranch, traveling first to Arizona and Rancho Cucomonga in California for events related to Medicare. He will then spend Monday night in San Diego before his address at the naval air station.

The president’s travels come at a time when his job approval has hit an all-time low – 36 percent – in a poll released this week by the American Research Group. In that survey, 58 percent disapproved of the job Bush is doing in the White House.

That contrasts sharply with the president’s most recent trip to the area. That was on Dec. 7, 2004, when he talked to troops at Camp Pendleton only a month after winning re-election. His approval rating then was 51 percent and a majority of Americans were still supportive of his Iraq policies.

In other news, leopard sharks spotted off the coast of San Diego.

So is anyone organizing a protest? I’d enjoy waving a sign as the chimp zooms by. It’s the very least we can do.

These types of statistics are completely worthless - 58% disapproved of the job Bush is doing in the White House. I want to know how many people really know what the Bush administration is actually doing - not what is being told by the media but the real accomplishments and failures, unbiased and factual.

However, if you’re one of those that believes in the medias opinions then that is an entirely different topic - I’m not saying Bush is clean or doesn’t have his faults - just highly pessimistic when it comes to the media (they have ratings and shareholders to answer to which to them are more important than reporting news) - but, grab those signs so you can get your 15 min of fame - the media is looking to apply their opinion to anything of potential controversy so they can boost those ratings - what, you thought the media is there to factually and honestly report the news!?

How can the media bother with George Bush when there’s a teenager missing in Aruba?
