Ihave through the years watched city officials place or increase fines aimed directly towards the working class. It's unbelievable that the city of S.D. uses the meter maid carts to add to its revenue. It's apparent the money does not go to fix any parking problems i.e. punishing offenders, or construction improvements to problem areas. San Diego has been corrupted by the wealthy residents and I wouldn't doubt there aims are to push lower income residents away from the beach communities intentionally by burden of there costs to live here. Revenues collected here are city income not neccesarily to make S.D a better place. I am a native of San Diego. I can't believe they would leave those unfortunate people to have all sorts of parking problems in their neighboorhoods. Why should only the poor get the benefit of parking attendants when the rich pay so much more in taxes?! Unbelievable. I know!
