It’s beautiful in San Diego. I work downtown, and the city is filled with goggle-eyed tourists and people dressed comfortably. The city seems to be in a good mood - people smile your way, people nod hello.
I walked down broadway, down 5th avenue, and then up the Trolley line walk. The walk along the trolley line from the Gaslamp to Seaport Village is lovely.
I saw kids playing in the fountain near Tin Fish, people walking dogs, tourists, and even office-workers like me.
Along that walk across from the convention center is lined public art and quotations from Martin Luther King. Nice diversion as well.
If you have the chance, get out and enjoy the day!
