Is this thing on…?

*ahem*…Helloo!

I guess we’re kinda introducing ourselves. I’m not a San Diego native, either. I moved here for graduate school from Colorado. After I finished school, I found myself with a job, a band and a nonprofit. Well, ok, the job was the only thing I had the DAY OF graduation, but the rest soon followed. My master plan to head back to Boulder right after graduation has gone through a slight change, but I’m happy to be along for the ride. I got to relive some of my college and younger memories from Boulder this weekend. A friend of mine was playing in a band called gogogo airheart at the Casbah on Saturday night. I ran into the viola player from my junior high school orchestra (I play violin). It’s really not so strange anymore, to run into her. I’ve run into here all over the place–in the Mission District in San Fran during college (when it was soooo coool to go to San Fran for a little vacation with all your buddies and the Mission was not cool quite yet.). Then I saw her again since she dated my neighbor at the place on 17th and Walnut in Boulder at the end of my college career. We didn’t much keep in touch, but then I ran inter her after I moved to San Diego. We still never do anything really to keep in touch, but it’s looking like it doesn’t matter. I expect that if I move to Sweden one day, I’ll run into her there, too.
